Joe Sestak Hires Terrorist Supporter

The callers to Joe Sestak's office protesting his slated appearence at the fundraising banquet for the Council on American Islamic Relations are in for a nasty surprise.

The staffer who could be anwering their call could be none other then CAIR Philly staffer and former communications director Adeeba Al Zaman.

The U.S. Congressman's employment of a CAIR staffer signifies another tie of support from the Democrats to our TERRORIST ENEMY'S.

Favorite Class: “Policy Analysis of Cuba.” This political science course gave me the freedom to rigorously study a selected Cuban policy of my choice: Cuba’s human development policy. We were fortunate enough to travel to Cuba for 10 days in order to further enrich our findings and test research in the field.
Favorite Leisure Activity: Black and white photography.

Adeeba Al-Zaman was born in Houston, TX. She graduated in December 2004 from Rosemont College with a degree in political science. From April 2005 until September 2006, Adeeba was CAIR-PA's first full-time employee, Director of Communications. She was hired to develop the organization from the ground-up. Among other things, Adeeba presented CAIR-PA's 10-part course, "Understanding Islam and Muslims through History and Jurisprudence" at the Paoli Presbyterian Church.
Adeeba is currently a Congressional staffer for Congressman Joe Sestak of PA District 7. She remains actively involved in various community and interfaith activities in the Philadelphia area.

This close relationship between the Democrat Representative and the Islamist group explains why Mr. Sestak is listed as the featured speaker at CAIR's fundraising banquet in Philadelphia on April 7th 2007.

CAIR Admits Terrorist Ties
Newsletter from Anti-CAIR:
News & Analysis007/07 March 3, 2007CAIR: Admits Officials Have Ties to Islamist TerrorismIn a stunning revelation, Corey Saylor, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) government affairs director, on 2 March admitted that convicted Islamic terrorists were CAIR officials when they committed terrorist acts against the United States: [Link here]

In an article carried by Delcotimes.com, Saylor is responding to questions about Ghassan Elashi and Ismail Royer and their ties to the leader of Hamas and activities in support of overseas terrorist organizations. While Saylor first said that Elashi and Royer were not working on behalf the group, he was later quoted:
"Some people try to hold us responsible for the actions of people that are associated with our organization. That’s absolutely ludicrous…you don’t hold all of Enron responsible for what Ken Lay did."For those North Americans that ever had any questions about CAIR’s ties to Elashi and Royer, and, by association, tied directly to Islamist terrorists, those questions have been answered by CAIR’s own spokesman.Saylor seems to have forgotten that Enron folded like a cheap tent when the criminal activities of its leadership were exposed…

UPDATE: Cair is sending out e-mails to deflect the Outrage against Sestak

[CAIR PA] Chairman's Message

Dear Friends of CAIR-PA, As Salaam Alaikum (Peace be unto you).

I am writing to you to bring your attention to the pressure being put
on Congressman Joe Sestak to fire his district outreach coordinator,
Adeeba Al-Zaman.

Let me say a few words about Adeeba, who was an exemplary CAIR-PA employee.

During her tenure with CAIR-PA, she proactively engaged interfaith and
ethnic communities, educated the general public about Islam and
Muslims and represented the best of Islamic and American values.

She left CAIR-PA in September 2006 to build a career in public
service. All of us who know her encouraged and applauded her when she
accepted a position with newly elected Congressman Sestak.

For me as a Muslim American, it was gratifying to see a young and
energetic member of my community succeeding in her dream of public
service.

It therefore pains me tremendously to see that Adeeba is being smeared
for her service to Muslims and Pennsylvanians.

Robert Lipshutz, a former Philadelphia assistant district attorney,
distributed a letter Tuesday to Delaware County rabbis, calling on
Sestak to cancel his speaking engagement at the CAIR-PA banquet and
fire Adeeba. During an interview by Amy Brisson of the Delaware County
News on Tuesday, I was asked to respond to the comment of a young
Jewish lady who apparently asked Congressman Sestak to disassociate
with CAIR and fire Adeeba because 'CAIR and Adeeba want us Jews dead'.

It shocked me to hear that a young woman could have such a
misconception about a bridge-builder such as Adeeba.

It also made me realize how much work is still needed to overcome the
fear and hate mongering that have been heaped on groups of US citizens
simply because of race, religion, or national origin.

I ask you to join CAIR and me in reaching out across these divides to
strengthen the ties of human friendship and equality between all
American citizens by joining CAIR and Muslims of Philadelphia on April
7, 2007 at our first annual banquet. There, with your presence, we can
demonstrate a joint resolve to strengthen the bonds of humanity with
each other.

Tickets may be obtained here:

As you know, the Qur'an reminds its readers, 'O men! Behold, We have
created you out of a male and a female, and have made you into nations
and tribes, so that you might come to know one another. Verily the
noblest of you in the sight of God is the one who is most deeply
conscious of Him. Behold, God is all knowing, all aware.' (Qur'an
49:13)

Thank you for your time and I ask you to keep Adeeba in your prayers.

Sincerely,

Iftekhar Hussain, Chairperson, CAIR-PA
