Hamas to end truce with Israel

When and where did this truce take place? Hamas has yet to stop suicide bombings and missile attacks on Israel. So this whole announcement is a farce. What it really should say is "Hamas about to Increase and Expand its Attacks on Israel" that would be an honest headline.

Hamas to end truce with Israel

Meshaal leads Hamas from his Damascus headquartersThe political leader of the Palestinian militant group Hamas has said it will not renew its informal ceasefire with Israel that expires at the end of year.
Khaled Meshaal told a rally in the Syrian capital Damascus his group was preparing for a new round of conflict.
The truce begun in February was based on Israel ending its attacks on Palestinians and releasing prisoners.
Hamas had already said it would pull out of the truce when Israel killed a military leader in November.
Addressing the crowd at the Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus, Mr Meshaal said there was no room for a truce.
"I say to our brothers in the [Palestinian] Authority that we are witnessing political stagnation," he said.
"I say it loudly, we will not enter a new truce and our people are preparing for a new round of conflict."
Mr Meshaal was named the organisation's most senior figure after the assassination of Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in March 2004.
Correspondents say Hamas' politburo, which Mr Meshaal heads, is more hardline and ideological than the group's leadership in Gaza.

A Press Release is NOT a Blog

Congressional Bloggers
Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL)Mike Pence (R-IN)Mark Kirk (R-IL)Katherine Harris (R-FL)

This is just a personal bitch. To all the so-called Congressional Bloggers.

A Blog is not a Page of Press Releases, the trend of Reps and Senators to call a page of press releases Blogs is insulting. A blog is a place to "Discuss" stories and Ideas. It's bad enough that these so called blogs are written for the politicians by paid professionals it is not a blog if people can't comment on the posts. This trend shows that these people still don't get it.

Iran Reveals Plans to Produce Nuclear Fuel

Time to stop fooling around just bomb the Bastards

Dec 10, 12:52 PM (ET)

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) -

Iran's top nuclear official said Saturday that his country will enrich uranium and produce nuclear fuel despite an international campaign to persuade it to abandon such ambitions.
Gholamreza Aghazadeh, head of the Atomic Organization of Iran, gave no date for when the processes would start but stressed they would do so at some stage.
"For me, there is no doubt that the process of producing nuclear fuel in Iran will be accomplished," Aghazadeh told a news conference. "There is no doubt that we have to carry out uranium enrichment."

Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii is an ASS

Senator Inouye's outrage over ad that shows what the Democrats are saying is just plain stupid. For over two years the Dems have attacked everyone. Yet Inouye gets upset at an ad that has Dean's and Kerry's statements saying We can't win, and our troups are terrorists. He's Mad at the President for pointing it out yet not a peep out of his mouth about the Two former Presidential candidates that are openly attacking the troops and our War effort. I also don't remember him calling for the Democrats to pull the ad that called Bush Hitler. You Senator are an ASS and are part of the reason that the Republicans have not made the grounds that they should have as the majority party. Not to mention the ad is run by the RNC not Bush you old fool.

SENATOR CALLS ON BUSH TO TAKE DOWN ATTACK AD
Sat Dec 10 2005 16:41:38 ET

Today, Senator Daniel Inouye, the Ranking Member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and a recipient of the Medal of Honor for his service in World War II, released the following statement:"As a Veteran of World War II, I know what it’s like to fight a war and put your life on the line every day. I also know what it takes to win a war, and I know that politics and an attack machine like the President’s plays no part in it. "The Republican Party’s latest ad is a shameful and disgusting attempt to distract the American people from the problems in Iraq. It may improve the President’s political fortunes, but the American people and our troops will pay the price. I hope that President Bush realizes how shameful it is to play politics when what we really need is leadership, and that he will direct his Party to take down this ad immediately."

Russia and India want to side with Iran in upcoming WAR

As Russia and India align themselves with Iran, Russia continues to supply Iran with weapons. We must ask ourselves are we dealing with both these countries the way we should be, as they align themselves with a country that is preparing to go to War with the US and Israel. Putin is guiding Russia back into its' USSR position against the US and India who's economy has been recieving more and more jobs from US companies is joining Russia in its efforts to support a country that is threatening the world with Nuclear War.

What are our politicians doing to deal with this growing threat?

Russia and India join efforts to become strategic partners
Pravda
12/09/2005 17:28

The two countries aim to launch large-scale defense projects and stand up for Iran's right to work on its nuclear program
The recent visit of the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Russia has proved it again that Moscow officials do have good skills in finding political and economic allies. It is difficult to say which of the two states - Russia or India - is more interested in cooperation. It is not really important to know the answer for this question, taking into consideration the fact that there are too many fields, which Russia and India can gain mutual profit from.
India, the economic rise of which has been gaining five percent for several years already, is in dire need of energy carriers first and foremost. India supposedly purchases 70 percent of the consumed oil abroad. Needless to say that Russia may come in handy for India at this point.
In addition, India is very interested in Russian arms. It is noteworthy that the two countries have finished the purchase-and-sale period in their relations. The current level of bilateral ties between the two countries allows them to think about launching joint projects in the defense field. The development of a new pursuit plane of the fifth generation could be a good example of such intentions.
As for India acquiring Russian weapons, one should mention something about two other largest purchasers of Russian defense technologies: China and Iran (the latter has been gradually increasing its orders with the Russian defense complex). Both Chinese, Russian and Indian officials have recently acknowledged that the three countries were very close to achieving the genuine strategic partnership. A lot of specialists, however, said that China and India would never be able to avoid bitter rivalries in their aspiration to accomplish regional and global leadership.
Russia and India have been taking efforts to attract Iran in the large-scale Eurasian partnership. One can see Russian and Indian officials defending Tehran's interests on the international political arena, especially when it comes to the current debate of the Iranian nuclear program. President Putin and Indian Prime Minister Singh touched upon this subject during their recent talks in Moscow. There is every reason to believe that the two leaders have confirmed their intentions to stand up for Tehran's right to work on its nuclear projects if they are based on peaceful initiatives, of course.
Russia expects a lot from its Indian partners. It may seem surprising, but India, in which 25 percent of its billion-strong population live below the poverty line, can become a very good investor for the Russian economy.
It goes without saying that Russia and India will continue running a close political cooperation too. The Indian prime minister said during a press conference in Moscow that there was practically no international issue left in the world, which could be solved without Russia's participation in it.

DEMOCRAT PLAN FOR THE WAR ON TERROR

A New Contract With America

In the spirit of the 94 movement that excelled us to the majority it is time now to forge a new contract that addresses the issues we face. A game plan that should be adopted to state a set of goals for the party and the conservitive movement in the United States, to restore the bonds of trust between the people and their elected representatives.

That is why once again, in this era of official evasion and posturing, we need to offer a detailed agenda for national renewal, a written commitment with no fine print. A platform to stand on and commit ourselves to.

After four decades of one-party Democrat control, and one decade of Republican controll or lack of control, as the reality has been, it is time for the conservitives to take controll of our party.

That historic change would be the end of government that is too big, too intrusive, and too easy with the public's money. It can be the beginning of a Congress that respects the values and shares the faith of the American family. One that can address the security needs of the Nation, and speaks openly and honestly about both the direction of the country and the American Dream.

Number One : The borders of the United states MUST be secure. Our leaders must have the fortitude to address this critical issue without the fear of being labeled racist. The ilegal immigration problem must end. Once the borders are secure the internal problems of the ilegals can then be dealt with NOT the other way around.

Number Two : The growth in spending needs to be CUT by 2% across the board the ONLY exception to this can be defense in these perilous times. The party Leaders must have the spine to stick to this and explain to the press and the public, that a CUT IN GROWTH IS NOT A CUT IN SPENDING. Our leaders have proven they do not have the fortitude to state this FACT.

Number Three : Domestic Oil production and refinement needs to be addressed. We need four NEW Refineries located in four seperate regions outside of the Gulf Coast. The restrictions on domestic drilling need to be lifted by Federal Mandate. The effect on the Economy of foreign dependence is a matter of National Security

Number Four : A new Department of Alternate Energy needs to be formed to control the research and development of alternative sources of energy. This dept needs to be equal to the Department of Energy in status but seperate and independant from that department.

Number Five : A public debate and reevaluation of the United States and the United Nations. After which it should be placed on the 2012 Presidential election as a YES or NO vote whether the United States should remain as part of the U.N. the PUBLIC should make this decision NOT the politicians. If the debate can not convince a simple majority of American citizens of the U.N.s worth, than like the people of Europe that have had a choice of joining the E.U. the people of the U.S. should be allowed the CHOICE of whether or not we belong to the U.N.

Number Six : A renewed commitment to the Space Program. No other endeaver has benifited mankind in its residual benefits than the space program. Advances in every facet of our lives have come from this one government program. We are neglecting our future in science, health, and technolagy by not devoting the resources to this program.

Number Seven : A public explanation and comitment to the American people and the World of our military and economic determination to defend ourselves against terror both internally and externally. This behaivour and threat must not and will not be tollerated by the people of this country or our leaders.

These seven comitments can keep us economicly sound and secure now and in the future. It is imperitive that our leaders understand this and that they speak plainly to the people of this country. We are at a point in our history that demands a specific comitment to guarantee the safety and security of our future. We have ridden the wave of the 20th century and the initial boom of the industrial age. We have not taken the steps to grow past the first wave of the industrial revolution to the second wave. These next two decades are Crucial in deciding whether the United States rides the wave of this century to its crest or is crushed under that wave and washed onto the shore while other nations are lifted above us.

N.Y. Daily News is having PipeDreams

Get a load of this drug crazed delusion. These two "reporters" are either doing drugs or have mixed to much Rum in their EggNogg

Rummy exit expected; Lieberman eyed for job
BY THOMAS M. DEFRANK and KENNETH R. BAZINET
DAILY NEWS WASHINGTON BUREAU

WASHINGTON - White House officials are telling associates they expect Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to quit early next year, once a new government is formed in Iraq, sources said yesterday.

What sources would that be, they don't even bother to say anonymous or un-named sources. I can just picture this WhiteHouses staff running out to leak a story like this to the Daily News, can't you?

Rumsfeld's deputy, Gordon England, is the inside contender to replace him, but there's also speculation that Sen. Joe Lieberman - a Democrat who ran against Bush-Cheney in the 2000 election - might become top guy at the Pentagon.

Yeah thats right if Rummy goes Bush is going to bipass all the logical and qualified choices to replace him with a Democrat. Why? I guess the White House knows they have been wrong to stick with Rummy so they'll pick Lieberman to make amends.

That's not as farfetched as it might first appear.

Yeah right, have another shot guys.

The Daily News has learned that the White House considered Lieberman for the UN ambassador's job last year before giving the post to John Bolton, a Bush adviser said.
"He thought about it for a week or so and finally said no," the adviser recalled.

Funny that this is the first anyone has heard this rumor. It was never even speculated back when the post for Ambassador was open.

A source close to the White House said Rumsfeld wanted out a year ago, after Bush's reelection, but neither he nor President Bush wanted his departure to appear to have been forced.

I like that statement in other words he is being forced out but Bush just doesn't want it to look that way.

"They didn't want to give the critics the satisfaction that their piling on was what got rid of him," a Bush adviser said.
Bush has told friends that Rumsfeld is a political liability, but the President has a history of sticking with his personnel baggage until an opportune moment.

Yeah you can just see Bush calling Rummy a liability can't you. I mean Bush's just consumed with the opinions of the Press.

"Only Rumsfeld will make Rumsfeld leave," a White House source said.
Rumors that Lieberman could replace Rumsfeld started flying early this week, and Bush and Vice President Cheney fanned the flames by quoting the former Democratic veep candidate's pro-war statements.

You know thats TRUE because only a Democrat vieing for placement of a position with the administration would ever say anything pro about the war. I mean what other reason could Lieberman possibly have to say anything positive about this war. It can't be true that he feels that way, so he must be doing it to get something.

The mention of Lieberman's name prompted some Democrats to whisper that he is lobbying for the job.
"Lieberman seems to be coordinating his statements on the war with the White House," a Senate Democratic source said.

There's your proof another Democrat says the only reason he said progress is being made in Iraq is because he's coordinating his statements, it has nothing to do with the fact that his statements were true.

The source pointed to a news conference this week where Lieberman urged his party not to undermine Bush. The timing of Lieberman's pitch, also this week, to form a bipartisan "war cabinet" to aid Bush was cited as well.

I mean my God he wants to work with the White House in a time of War, what other explanation could there be?

But Lieberman and Team Bush dismissed the rumors.
"The U.S. Senate is where Sen. Lieberman wants to be, which is why he is actively campaigning for reelection to his fourth term," the senator's spokeswoman, Casey Aden-Wansbury, said.

Everybody involved laughs it off, but you know there just covering it up.

What this story shows is that these two "reporters" are so lost in their hate for Rummy, that they will jump through what ever hoops they can imagine to validate their delusions. They can only see conspiracy in Liebermans statements because in THEIR MINDS it is the only explanation for a good Democrat like Lieberman to go against the lunatics that have seized controll of the Democrat party.

Democrats and Terrorists a joint Philosophy

How to Tell Democrats from Terrorists .
It sure isn't easy to differentiate Democrats (or Conservatives), from terrorists these days.

1) Both Democrats and terrorists want American troops out of Iraq.

2) Both Democrats and terrorists hate George W. Bush.

3) Both Democrats and terrorists claim American troops are killing and
harassing innocent women and children in Iraq.

4) Both Democrats and terrorists claim American troops are an occupying force.

5) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that the war in Iraq was all about oil.

6) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that Bush lied to get the congress to agree to the war against Saddam.

7) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that America is losing the war in Iraq.

8) Both Democrats and terrorists claim that Bush "rushed" into the war, and neither appears to have noticed the year of delay while gathering numerous UN and congressional resolutions and authorizations.

But, to be sure, there is one way to tell Democrats from terrorists: Democrats claim that they support the troops, while terrorists don't.

Russia Trying to Say it Owns the Arctic

Russia Still Suffers From Paranoia and Delusians of Grandieur as exampled by this story in Pravda

USA to steal oil-rich Arctic region away from Russia
Pravda
12/08/2005 18:40

The US administration plans to launch an extensive economic intrusion in the Arctic from Alaska
One can hear political experts and international observers saying that Russia has been taking firm steps to win the title of a full-fledged member of the system of international relations. Does Russia have any other competitive advantages besides natural resources, which could include the country on the list of great superpowers?
According to experts' estimates, the evident advantages, which Russia obtains from its mineral wealth, may soon bring significant problems to the country in the future. Russia has been taking certain measures lately to ease the country of the "oil well dependence." However, extraction still tops the priority list for authorities, and the exploration of new oil fields remains somewhere in the background.
There are obviously many unexplored oil and gas deposits in Russia. Oil and gas reserves of the explored deposits will soon be exhausted. Furthermore, Russia may lose new perspective resources of world's most wanted raw material, oil.
The richest deposits of mineral resources can be found on Russia's vast Arctic territory. However, there is still no detailed plan on the development of this oil-rich area. The government does not have a precise concept for the development of the Arctic region. The ice-breaking fleet, which used to be a part of USSR's national pride, has been desolated. Russia may have only one ice-breaker left in a couple of years, although the vessel is still being built.
