Fascinating article here on TCS by Olivier Guitta. Amazingly, it appears that Al Que'da is NOT deemed to be a terrorist organisation by the European Union. Four years on from 9/11, the EU refuses to classify Bin Laden's terror group as that which the rest of us so plainly see. Al Qu'eda continues to be omitted from the EU's list of terror organisations. However given that FRANCE has ensured that Hezbollah is also not on the list, and that FRANCE had to be prevailed upon by US lobbying to even put HAMAS on this list, can we really be surprised? Needless to say the IRA is also left off the list. Such a COMFORT to its victims.
