Today the Senate Failed to renew 16 provisions of the Patriot Act.
In doing so what they have accomplished is to make us as vulnerable as we were the day before 9/11. No longer can police and Inteligence agencies share information. The Jamie Gorelick Wall is back in place, and we are now vulnerable to attack from elements inside and outside this country. As of Dec 31 all the work that has been done over the past 4 years to make us safe are gone.
These Senators are playing politics in a time of WAR. They have NO regard for the safety of the American people all they are concerned with is their own personal power. If anyone can find the list of Senators that voted against this please post it in a response.
We are all doomed as our politicians condemn us to suffer additional Terrorist attacks for their political gain.
